Phillips, Jr. :The descendants through Christopher Phillips who came to the Northeast from England have been shown to have a different YDna that those from the Grant R. Phillips, Jr. line. This connection had been made years ago before the advent of DNA research. Those related to this Thomas and Christopher Phillips have completely different DNA. I leave this information on this tree as information should out of wedlock data ever make an association with this family. As of this date, 8 April 2011, there has not been any data suggesting this connection. (From profile entered by Stephen Wilkinson)

Phillips-2614 and Philipps-8 appear to represent the same person because: Both profiles are for Sir Thomas Philipps of Picton, Pembrokeshiure, Wales. who married Joan Dwnn. Philipps is the more commonly used spelling of his last name.

Is this Phillips related to Cap Thomas Phillips of the Hannibal slave ship?

I have doubts about this Phillip character who is quite illusive. Can’t find his father's family line. There may have been some Africans who were taken to the New World but i am not buying that 12 million blacks were taken from Africa to the New World when blacks lived in Americas per Columbus , blacks were in Europe for over 2,000 years and even spent a longer time in the Americas before the Olmecs! Europe was too broke to afford to build 12,000 ships to take 12 million blacks to the New World. It's all about land theft- make the land abandoned and remove people from the land in America, NZ, Australia etc. , Europe and UK so you can steal the land from the indigenous blacks. Crime of the millennium. Best regards, Dr. McDonald II- Barrister and Attorney at law

Warning: Check the data.
  • A father's death date (Ap_Meredudd-1 died 1441) should not be more than nine months before one of his children's birth dates (Philipps-8 born 1465).

Phillips-13833 and Philipps-8 appear to represent the same person because: while the dates are suspect, and the wife's name is the alternate spelling, one of the sons on -13833 used to be attached to-8, These lines need merging.
