Frona was born July 12, 1908 at Cherry Fork in Scott County, Tennessee. She was the daughter of William Dale Crusoe Phillips and Calanza ( Newport ) Phillips . She married A.Y. Phillips on November 25, 1926 in Scott County. She passed away from a cerebral hemorrhage and hypertension on June 3, 1962 at the Scott County Hospital in Oneida, Scott County.

PHILLIPS, Sister FRONA BERNICE – was born July 12, 1908 and departed this life June 3, 1962. She accepted Christ as her Savior and joined the Cherry Fork Baptist Church and was baptized November 18, 1923 and remained a member until her death. She leaves to mourn her absence her husband, A.Y. PHILLIPS, one son KENNETH PHILLIPS both of Helenwood, Tenn. One brother, MARLEY PHILLIPS of Oneida, and one sister, JUANITA BROWN of Princeton, Indiana and a host of other relatives and friends.
