Biography
George Phillips was the father of Henry Phillips, and that’s about all we know. George was born about 1731 possibly in the Llangwm area, but as yet I have not traced his baptism or any clues about his parents. His son Henry was baptized in 1762 so we can assume that a marriage to Henry’s mother was too far off that date, say about 1761, possibly in the Llangwm area, but all this is just pure conjecture, at the moment.
