Biography
Dewy Phillips was born on 21 November 1904 in Normantown, Gilmer, West Virginia, United States, son of Abel John Phillips (1867–1939) and Massalona McNorman (1873–1944).
In 1930, Dewy (25) was in the household of Abel J Phillips in Beaver, Nicholas. [3]
Dewey (29) married Media Myrtle Ellison (21) (born in Craigsville, Nicholas county, West Virginia, USA) on 21 February 1934 in Nicholas county.[4] Their known children were:
In 1940, Dewey (35) Philips was in the household of Orion Ellison in Beaver Magisterial District, Nicholas. [5]
Dewey died about 1966 in West Virginia, aged about 61.
