Biography
Anna married first to John Phillips Jr. or Phelps of Lancaster, MA, in 1771.[1] He died in 1776, and she remarried the following year to Israel Butler.[2] They had 5 children born at Lancaster:
- Benjamin, b. Feb. 7, 1778
- Abel, b. April 19, 1779
- John, b. April 10, 1781
- Samuel, b. Jan. 23, 1784
- Abijah, b. Jan. 18, 1786
