Alexander Phillips and Anna McDaniel were married 5 June 1837 in Sumter, Alabama. [1]
In 1850 the family has moved to Jasper County, Mississippi. They are mistakenly listed under a head of household named Parker. The two households have been indexed as one. [2]
In 1860 they were living in Rankin County, Mississippi. [3] Still in Rankin County, in 1870, Ann is no longer in the household. One grown son, his wife and two small children as well as another son of Alexander are living together. [4]
In 1880 Alexander is living in the household of his son A (Alfred) Phillips. This is the last census where Aleaxander is shown as he died about 1889.[5]
Alexander Phillips passed away about 1889 presumably in Rankin County, Mississippi.
