Charles Ernest Phillips is my Great-Grand Father.He is the father of Lou Norrean Phillips,My Grandmother and wife of Ira Watson Pate.I met my Grt-Grd Father once at the age of 7-8 Yrs Old.It was a 15 minute visit at my parent's home in Commerce,Mi.Understand my Grd Mother was 16 Yrs Old when she gave birth(1924) to my father in Bloomington Ind.Ira Pate was 20Yrs Old and the Birth Certificate states they were married at the time.
