Biography
Rachel Phillips was born in April 1778 in Rockingham Co., Virginia.
She married William Bowers in 1800 in Rockingham Co., Virginia. Her father's name was not listed. James Henton provided the surety. [1]
She and her husband were mentioned in an 1817 burnt deed record about an indenture with the heirs of Michael Martz.[1]
She died in August 1828 in Fairfield Co., Ohio. She is buried in Bowers Cemetery in Pickerington, Ohio.[2]
