Biography
Jane was born in 1839. Her father was William Phillips. She married James Mathew Cox. Jane passed away in 1922. Burial was in the Crab Orchard Cemetery in Crab Orchard, Cumberland, Tennessee.[1]
Martha Jane was born about 1837, daughter of William Phillips. She married James Matthew “Mat” Cox before 1860. [1]

Research on LNAB
Her last name at birth is Phillips. Please change her last name at birth to Phillips. She was attached to the wrong Husband. James Matthew “Mat” Cox is her husband. I added James Matthew Cox. She seems to have lived in Tennessee in all records. I detached her from the wrong husband James Marion Cox . She did have a son named Calvin.
Could only find evidence that James Marion Cox had two wives and Martha was not one of them.
