Biography

James was born in 1897 to Andrew Phillips and Mary Garrett. He is a great x3 grandson of Leonard M Garrett, Revolutionary War veteran and progenitor of this Garrett line. James moved from Arkansas to California after 1933, where it seems he spent the rest of his life. He passed away in 1957 at 59 years old.
