Biography
Catherine Frances Pickering was born in 1863 to Benjamin and Ann Elizabeth Pickering in Yorkshire, England. She was baptized 15 May 1863 at Leeds St Peter in West Yorkshire.
She married John William Whiteley, artist, at Pontefract St Giles and St Mary, Yorkshire in 1894. The couple had two children: Mary Enid Whiteley born in 1895 and Wilfred Pickering Whiteley in 1900.
Catherine Pickering Whiteley lived to 90 years of age and died in Dartford, Kent in 1953.
