There is a marriage for William Pickering and Muriel Pitts from Colchester in 1798.[1] No record for a child of this marriage has been found in the IGI set.
In the 1841 census for Newark, Notts there is a record for William and Muriel Pickering, both aged between 65 and 69. He was born in the county, she was not. There is also a son George living with them.[2]
