My name is Millie Pickett. I love in Greensburg, Ky. and have been working on my family tree for ten years. I am very fortunate to have the first six generations living within a 30 mile radius from 1785 in a tri-county are which has made my work a dream come true. Many family members had already published family books which made it much easier to work on my own direct lines. I have more than ten Revolutionary War direct line ancestors, many of them buried within the 30 mile radius. My oldest, most well documented Rev. War Veteran is buried in an unmarked grave here in the county I live in. It is my goal to find his grave and make certain it will be available for many generations to come. I work on my family tree nearly everyday and am very excited to be part of the WikiTree family. Thanks

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.
Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.
If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.
Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.
