Is Clem your ancestor? Please don't go away! Login to collaborate or comment, or ask our community of genealogists a question.
Clem's line traces back to Essex Co, VA with a Pickett born about 1705, possibly named Henry. From that point forward, there is no recorded connection to the General's line. Whether they have a common ancestor can only be determined by Y-DNA testing of a male Pickett of Clem's family line and comparing it to the General's family line (and, yes, Y-DNA markers for the General's family are known).
