Colonel Martin Pickett served with Fauquier County Militia, Virginia Militia during the American Revolution.

Col. Martin Pickett[1] was born December 25th, 1736 in King George, Virginia[2], the child of William Pickett and Elizabeth Cooke. He married Ann Blackwell in 1764. Martin passed away in 1804. [3]

Col. Martin Pickett, on May 31, 1764,Fauquier County,Virginia.[4] married the daughter of Col. Joseph and Lucy (Steptoe) Blackwell, of Fauquier Co, Va. Ann Blackwell; and had issue:

  • 1776 Lieutenant-Colonel Martin Pickett served in the Revolutionary War in the 3rd Virginia Regiment under Colonel Thomas Marshall[6].
