Son of Rev. David Howard Pickett (1943–2005) and Virginia Carol Henning (1946–)
A Northumberland County man, struck by a car in Dauphin County Thursday while directing traffic in a tree-trimming work zone, has died, state police at Lykens said.
Nathan Pickett, 37, of Trevorton, died at 9: 38 p.m[1]. at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center where he was flown shortly after the 11: 26 a.m. accident on Route 225, police said.
The cause of death was listed as multiple injuries, including head injuries.
Troopers said Pickett, an employee of Asplundh Tree Experts, was directing traffic when he was struck by a southbound car. The accident occurred in the area of Peters Mountain Road in Halifax Twp., police said.[2]
