(Terreblanche-6 was merged into Pinard-155 as it was concluded (see the comments below) that there is no evidence of an Esther van der Merwe aka Terblanche, while there was an Ester Pinard, daughter of Martha (Le Febre) Terblanche aka Pinard (De_Febre-1) and Jacques Jacob Pinard (Pineau-51). Estienne Terreblanche only had four children with Martha de Febre. If this was that there were an Esther van der Merwe, both Ester and Maria was conceived before 1713, which is the "parents" marriage date, while Martha de Febre was still married to Jacques Jacob (Pineau) Pinard. Pinard-155 must be merged with Terreblanche-6. Ester Pinard, daughter of Martha (Le Febre) Terblanche aka Pinard (De_Febre-1) and Jacques Jacob Pinard (Pineau-51). There is no evidence of an Esther van der Merw aka Terblanche.

Hi, how was this information obtained and verified?

Can you be more specific to your question, Olaf. I do not understand.

Susanna, according to my resources Estienne Terreblanche only had four children with Martha de Febre. Futhermore, if this was in fact true, both Ester and Maria was conceived before 1713, which is the "parents" marriage date, while Martha de Febre was still married to Jacques Jacob (Pineau) Pinard.

Hope you understand why I query this?

With more attention (Can not say the same of Maria) According to Wikitree, Martha de Febre also had a daughter with Jacques Jacob (Pineau) Pinard with the same name and maidan name (Esther van der Merwe), the dates just does not support this theory as it is +- 6 years apart.

I did some research an can not find proof of this child. My guess is that this is the same child as Esther Pinard and end with the wrong father. This was part of an import in 2013. I would suggest that we correct the LNAB and merge the profiles. Lets hear what the other members think :)

It was a gedcom import way back in 2013; part of a huge import that was still allowed back then of thousands of profiles. Still to be sourced and validated, as much by primary sources as possible. Primary sources might be found here (thanks to Ronel Olivier), here (thanks to the late Dirk Laurie), and here & here (Ronel). Also see other primary sources on WikITree and on the Cape of Good Hope - Kaap de Goede Hoop (1652-1806) Project Page. Remember that we collate data, we do not remove the data of others [unless collaboratively agreed on if deemed totally unsuitable] and we avoid narration.
