It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Mary by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Mary:
According to the Brinton book, she was mother of 13 of Joseph's children. She died after George was born in 1739 and before 1748 when Joseph remarried.
Do you have a source for the 1711 DOD? 1711 is the year she married George Brinton. They declared their intentions at the Chichester Meeting in 1711 and were married at Concord Meeting. "Joseph Brinton of the township of Thornbury, county of Chester, and province of Pennsylvania, yeoman and Mary Peirce, spinster, daughter of George Peirce of Thornbury, aforesaid; married 10th Mo. 6, 1711, at Concord Mtg."
