DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Joshua by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Joshua:
Until proposed merger is acted on, see Pierce-4224 for additional information and sources of information for James Pierce. When these two profiles are merged, please correct the name spelling from Peirce to Pierce.
Peirce-304 and Pierce-4224 appear to represent the same person because: 1. Dates of their birth and death are the same 2. "Peirce" is a misspelling based on the spelling of the names of all of his siblings and his parents as per his profile and reference material 3. In seeking to link into my own tree I came across Peirce-304 for the person I was searching for, which has the correct relationships although misspelled name and also Pierce-4224, which also has the correct birth and death dates but no other information. 4. Note - all information (except spelling of surname) from Peirce-304 should be carried into Pierce-4224 as Pierce-4224 has no parents, children, references etc.
