Deacon Jonathan Pierce was born in Groton, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, June 29, 1789. He was the son of Jonathan Pierce and Abigail Prescott Pierce. [1][2]
He was married in Groton about July 13, 1811 (date intentions filed) to Olive Hale, daughter of Charles Hale and Dorcas Randall Hale.[3] >
He was a Deacon for many years at the Littleton Baptist Church, which has a memorial window in his honor.[4]
Jonathan was a Captain in the Groton Artillery in 1812. [4]
He died in Littleton, Middlesex County, Massachusetts on March 26, 1866 at the age of 76. He is buried in Westlawn Cemetery in Littleton. [5][2]
