Biography
When Mathilda A Pierce was born in September 1848 in Illinois, USA, her father, Brinkley, was 36, and her mother, Phoebe, was 39. She married Isaac S Johnson on January 24, 1871, in Ogle, Illinois, USA.
According to the 1880 US Census for Flagg, Ogle, Illinois, thirty-one-year-old Matilda was the wife of Isaac Johnson, a farmer of the Flagg area. Matilda, mother of Phoeba A., 7, and Winfield, 6 Months, was born about 1849 in Illinois. Matilda passed away after 1880.
