Biography
Martha Pierce was born on June 3, 1777, in Partridgefield, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Ebenezer Pierce and Eunice Loomis. She married Joshua Miner, Jr., on March 9, 1797 in Stonington, Connecticut.
Joshua and Martha had the following children:
1. Joshua Miner ( February 4, 1799 - April 30, 1837). He married Roxy Miner on March 6, 1823 in Windsor, Massachusetts.
2. Lydia Miner (March 22, 1800 - 1865). Born in Bloomingburg, Sullivan County, New York, and died there.
3. Pierce Miner (November 8, 1802 - 1895). Born in Williamstown, Massachusetts. Married Emeline Ames in April, 1829, in Scriba, Oswego County, New York.
4. Rufus Miner (August 30, 1804 - October 7, 1854). He married Asenath Sharp, born 1808.
5. Adeline Miner (August 20, 1806 - ???)
