At the time of the 1851 England and Wales Census, Elizabeth Peirce was listed as living in Gillingham, Kent, along with her brother-in-law Charles Slade and his children John G, Georgina, Emma E, and Rosa A Slade^[2].

At the time of the 1861 England and Wales Census, Chas., J.G., G. A., E. E., and R. E. Slade were listed as living in Gillingham, Kent, along with a visitor named E. S. P. (probably Charles' sister-in-law, Elizabeth S Peirce), and a servant^[3].

At the time of the 1871 England and Wales Census, Charles, Georgiana A, Emma E, and Rosa S E Slade were listed as living in Gravesend, Kent, along with Charles' sister-in-law Elizabeth I Peirce, and a servant^[4].
