Virginia (Pierce) Porter is part of a Bahamian family.

Virginia was born in Key West, Florida, in 1919 to John Pierce and Ellen Kemp. In 1930^[1] and 1940^[2], the family was living in key West, Monroe County, Florida.

In 1942, she married Wilbur Lynn Porter.^[3] In 1945, they were living with her parents in Key West. Her husband was in the Navy.^[4]

Wilbur and Virginia divorced on 01 Feb 1972.^[5]

When Virginia passed away in Dec 1972^[6], she was buried in the Key West Cemetery, Key West, Florida. ^[7]
