Biography
Korean War veteran Frank Pierce III was an avid historian and lent his talents and his pen to the task of editing my grandmother's Beville books, writing a history of the Washington Sangerbund, and documenting an unmatched history of World War II, from his own "Boys Eye View," and how the war affected a small town on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. My late father would be glad to know that he transmitted to me a sizable chunk of his Maryland Eastern Shore genes -- and that I have so many relatives popping up in Family Finder, AncestryDNA and Gedmatch -- some of whom still live in Somerset County, Maryland -- and his hometown of Princess Anne!
