Edgar Whitman Giffin married 2nd. Cecelia Pierce on June 17, 1914, in the Sable River Baptist Church. She was born December 6, 1872, died May 18, 1968, the daughter of Enos Foster and Celia Hayden (Giffin) Pierce. There probably were no children by this marriage. They adopted a daughter, Myrtle.
Buried in the Louis Head Cemetery, "Giffin" stone reads "Cecelia, December 6,1872 - May 18, 1968"
