"Gervase Pierrepont, second son of the Hon. William Pierrepoint(sic), second son of Robert, first Earl of Kingston, was created a peer of Ireland as Baron Pierrepont, of Ardglass(Ireland), and of Great Britain, (19th October, 1714) as Baron Pierrepont, of Hanslope, in the county of Bucks. His lordship espoused Lucy, daughter of Sir John Pelham, Bart., of Loughton, in Sussex, but d. issueless in 1715, when all His Honours became extinct."

Dying without issue, this estate devolved to the Duke of Kingston..."
