Biography

Robert was a Friend (Quaker)

Name: Last name is spelled Pearson in marriage certificate and in Proabte record.

Birth: Robert was born to Thomas and Margery Pearson on 3 Dec 1683.[1]

Marriage: On May 29, 1706, Robert Pearson, son of Thomas Pearson of Marple Township, Pennsylvania, married Katherine Thomas, daughter of James Thomas of Merion, Pennsylvania.[2][3][4] The Certificate of Marriage was signed by the following members of Robert Pearson's family: Thomas Pearson, Margery Pearson, Lawrence Pearson, Enoch Pearson, and John Pearson.[2]

Death and Probate: Robert Pearson, of Marple, apparently died intestate. His Probate was opened on October 15, 1753 in Chester, Pennsylvania. Able Janney was appointed Administrator for the benefit of Robert's grandchildren who appear to be Tabithy (?), Thomas, Amos (?) and Catharine. The inventory of the Estate was completed on October 24, 1753. There are no orders or reciepts for disbursements. [5]

  3. Ralph Pearson.
  4. John Pearson.
  5. William Pearson.
