Born in Litchfield Coonecticut in 1768, David was the son of Ephraim and ? Hannah Barret Pearson or Submit (Stow) Pearson
David married H. Irish in 1793 and later a Mrs Dewey. He moved from Connecticut to Cherry Valley, New York and then to Avon, New York, where he lived for 26 years. After that he emigrated to Canada West (Ontario Canada). In this new and relatively unsettled country, Daivd kept a public house near the present city of Brandtford.
He had 13 children: Ira, born in 1793 and died in 1850; Benjamin, born 1796; Olive, born 1798 and died young; Susannah, born 1800 and died 1823; Sarah, born 1802; Jesse, born 1804 and died 1865; David, born 1806; Ann, born 1808; John K, born 1810; Laura, born 1813; Ephraim, born 1815; Joseph, born 1817, Eliz, born 1819 and Hannah, Born 1822.
