Biography

Zelma Pierson was born 16 June 1902 in Ohio. She was the daughter of Scott Pierson and Elizabeth Decker.

RESEARCH NOTE: Zelma was likely born in Ohio as that is where the family was living at the time. There is an Indiana Births and Christenings source which provides a birthplace in Bath, Indiana. The actual record cannot be viewed. It is unknown if this is perhaps a late birth certificate and Zelma provided the Indiana birthplace thinking she was born in Indiana.^[1]
