Mary Jane Piggott was born in 1839 in Ontario (Upper Canada / Canada West) and died 22 Dec 1921.
Research Notes
It is possible that information is mixed between two different Mary Jane Piggott's. The Mary Jane Piggott that was married to Thomas Edward Taylor (1832–1893) in 1867[1] was born in Virginia in December of 1837 and passed away at the age of 93 in December of 1930 in Virginia. Mary Jane and Thomas Taylor are the parents of three children and two of the children are linked here: Emma and Henry Burr Taylor. Please review Find-a-Grave Memorial ID: Find A Grave: Memorial #73254331.[2]
Death Certificate
Mary Jane Taylor: Virginia, Death Certificates, 1912-1987
I would recommend that another Mary Jane Piggott be added as the spouse of Thomas Taylor (using the information from her death certificate and Find-a-Grave) before detaching this Mary Jane and then attach Emma and Henry Burr Taylor to the correct mother.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Mary by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Mary:
Piggott-847 and Piggott-373 appear to represent the same person because: I had created Piggott-847 but Piggott-373 did not show up during creation process. Since I can't delete the one I made today, I am proposing a merge. Hello by the way!
