She married Thomas Russell Johnson in 16 March 1858 in Sumner and was the mother of William J. Johnson. Their children were;
There is a photo of Elizabeth as a young bride, not a beauty but fair, trim, fashionably coiffed, and dressed in then current style. Her whole life ahead of her, she and Tom are tentatively touching hands. A later photo shows a heavier, severe, looking woman-- sun-burned, hair pulled into a tight knot and dressed in a once nice skirt and bodice, seated next to husband Tom outside of their home. What her life was like,is hard to imagine. A good bet is that she wasn't happy or satisfied with her lot in life. She was about 45 when she died 18 March 1885.& She hasn't been located in FindaGrave but she's probably buried in Puxico, Missouri, where she died. Juedeman-1
