Biography
Birth and Parentage
Sarah was born 25 August 1875 in Cherokee Sound, Abaco, Bahamas,[1] and she was baptized there on 22 August 1878.[2] She was the daughter of Jeremiah Pinder and Rebecca Johnson .
1st Marriage and Issue
Sarah married first William A. Schleppy on 16 November 1892 in Key West in a ceremony performed by Robt. M. Evans, M.G.[3] They had three children, Benjamin , Harriet "Hattie" and Lillian .
2nd Marriage
Sarah married second William C. Cruickshank circa 1919–20 in Miami.[4] Sarah and William divorced in 1935,[5] though they apparently were already separated by 1930.[6]
Death
Sarah died on 5 August 1959 in Miami, Florida,[7] and she is buried there in the City Cemetery.[8]
