Mrs Lorena Faith "Nanny" Parkinson, 73, of 415 W Allen St, died at 9pm Friday at Memorial Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by husband, William and a brother, Virgil Pistorius. Mrs Parkinson was employed by the Illinois Department of Correction, retiring April 30, 1974.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs Thomas (Betye) Leach and Mrs Gilbert (Dolores) Hunter of Springfield; two brothers, Henry and Bill Pistorius of Springfield; four grandsons; one granddaughter; one great-grandson.
Services will be at 2pm Monday at Bisch Memorial Home, the Rev Roger F Christianson officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.[6]
