Biography

Grace A. (Pistorius) Greiner was born March 9, 1935. She was the daughter of Herbert and Mabel (Archut) Pistorius. Grace graduated from Sisseton High School in 1953. On September 14, 1958, Grace was united in marriage with Bennie I. Greiner in rural Browns Valley, MN. Grace and Bennie farmed together in Roberts County. Grace was a faithful member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church. Attending the ladies' activities at the church was very important to Grace. She loved country music and enjoyed dancing. In her free time, you could find her playing cards and dominos. During her stay at the Wilmot Care Center, Grace enjoyed bingo, bowling, and horseshoes. Mrs. Grace Greiner is survived by her children: Brian (Peggy) Greiner of Twin Brooks, SD; Gaylene Greiner of Missouri; 5 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one brother, Clarence (Donna) Pistorius of Browns Valley, MN; two sisters: LaVonne (George) Rattelmuller of Coumbia, MO, and Lynette (Dennis) Greiner of Wilmot, SD; one step-brother, Warren (Pat) Roske of Colorado; and one step-sister, Karen Wieker of Aberdeen, SD. Grace was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, an infant brother, and her step-mother, Linda.^[1]
