Biography

I am a 66 year-old school teacher with a masters degree. I teach science, math, and computers. Also, I teach evening college classes for education majors. My interests are broad including history, politics, and literature. I am married and have one son. I am a proud grandfather of an amazing granddaughter.

Roland Pittman

I heartily support the Wikitree mission and agree to abide by the rules. I am a 65 year-old teacher with a life-long interest in my family history and genealogy. There is a sense of urgency to preserve a memory of the past because many older folks who have oral history or knowledge from memories are passing from the scene. Growing up, I thoroughly enjoyed sitting and listening to my elders telling of past events. I would like to preserve a knowledge of my ancestors and their lives for my posterity. Contributing to Wikitree is one way of doing it.
