My great-grandmother, Louisa Jackson "Jane" (Pitts) Spillman had a couple sayings that I always liked. They were - "I like comers and goers, not comers and stayers". The other one was, "There are two kinds of dirt - Clean dirt and Dirty dirt". Also, every time she used to see Johnny she would pat him on the shoulder and say, "You're such a fine big boy".
