Biography

When Rosetta "Rosy" "Rosa" Pitts was born on September 13, 1872, in Missouri, her father, John Barb Pitts, was 26, and her mother, Martha Caroline "Puss" Pitts, was 21. She married Dr. Charles Vivian Steward on February 23, 1887 when she was 14 years old. She died on August 25, 1959, in Coolidge, Arizona, at the age of 86, and was buried in Bolivar, Missouri.
