Biography

Frederick William Plank was born on December 8, 1878. He was married to Lena Seville Barrett on June 30, 1903, in Canastota, Madison, New York.[1] In 1905, they and their oldest daughter, listed as Marion, but most often referred to as Annette, were living next door to her mother and widowed sister.[2] In 1915, the household was still located here, along with the younger daughter, Ada.[3] At the time of the World War I draft in 1918, he was still living at 317 North Main Street in Canastota, Madison, New York, where he was working for his father-in-law's company, Barrett Lumber Co. He is listed as being tall, with a medium build, blue eyes, and brown hair.[4] The couple were divorced sometime between then and 1920, as he did not die until 1948, and she listed herself as "widowed" on subsequent census records.
