According to Find a Grave:

Isabel was quiet, lived by herself, became a nun and then the Prioress of Amesbury Priory, but spent a lot of time outside of the priory on pilgrimages and personally attending to and the administration of her properties granted to her by her father. She owned hunting dogs and had servants, used her family's position to her advantage to obtain benefits and special considerations. The king ordered three tuns of wine yearly for life to her priory, as well as twelve oaks for life from the Chute Forest. She was elected prioress March of 1344, and died shortly before 04 Feb 1349. There is no husband listed there.

Just a thought, Vic, but could Isabel have become a nun after her marriage had failed ?. Due to family commitments, I have little time right now to research, but I have every confidence in your abilities.

Henry, son of Edmund and husband of Matilda/Maud Chaworth, was Henry of Lancaster. He did have a daughter Isabel. According to Douglas Richardson's "Royal Ancestry," Vol. III, Page 486, Leese's "Royal Blood" erroneously identifies Isabel of Lancaster as the wife of Henry de la Dale. FMG says that she "perhaps married Henry de la Dale in her youth."

Other than Leese, I know of no reliable evidence that links Isabel with Henry de la Dale. Should we disconnect him?

Per Sandy Stovall, the data on 15 Jul 2015 was removed, and gedcom restored. Do not revert to my work. ... but check Henry... something's wrong.
