Biography

IMHOFF.-On the 20th of December near Paradise Hill, Ashland county, O., of dropsy, Elizabeth Imhoff, aged 73 years and 10 days. A companion of 80 years, and eight children are left to mourn the loss of a devoted companion and affectionate mother. She was an earnest member of the church for more than 59 years. Several days before her death she expressed a desire to go home. Funeral services by Henry Beery and Isaac Good from Rev. 21:7.

Go to thy peaceful rest, for thee we need not weep, Since thou art now among the blest No more by sin and sorrow pressed, But hushed in quiet sleep.^[1]
