He was born in Conestoga Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania and emigrated to the Bald Eagle Valley in Centre County, Pennsylvania in 1796 along with his extended family. There he married his first cousin, Anna Pletcher who was the daughter of Samuel Pletcher and Elizabeth Yordy, on 8Dec1811. He then emigrated with members of his wife's extended family to Ohio.[1]

Pletcher-311 and Pletcher-40 appear to represent the same person because: Duplicate profile.

Pletcher-200 and Pletcher-40 appear to represent the same person because: Pletcher-40 looks like a stub and lists Anne as his spouse. Pletcher-200 is more complete. This will clean up Anne's entry as well.
