Note: Mary Plummer was born about 1634. She married first John, son of John and Martha Cheney of Newbury April 20, 1660. He was a brother of her brother Joseph's wife. Mr. Cheney died in Newbury, where they lived, Jan 7, 1671. Mr. Cheney's physician
was Dr. David Bennett of Rowley, and during his professional visits became acquainted with Mrs. Cheny, whom he married April 29 1672. She lived with Doctor Bennett in Rowley until her decxease in 1682. At the time of her marriage with Doctor

Mary's parents are thought to be Francis Plumer (Plummer) and Ruth (unknown last name). They possibly arrived in America from England around 1632 as part of the Plough Company then settling in Lynn or Ipswich, and were in Newbury in 1635 when it became a town. None of the children's births were recorded in Newbury and they are estimated in the reference on the Great Migration Begins. [2]

Plummer-4837 and Plummer-262 appear to represent the same person because: Please merge Plummer-4837 with Plummer -262, They are the same person. I created the first one linking her to John Cheny (whom did not exist). Subsequent review showed that John Cheney was already created as was Mary Cheny/Cheney but she showed upon only as Plummer / Bennet when potential matches to Cheny / Cheney were shown. This correct profile was not origially shown as a potential. Therefore please merge these two into Plummer-262 as I added more references to the Cheny / Cheney children.
