Biography
p. 197 Libby Family in America Joseph Libby, born in Scarborough, 6 March 1772; married Anna Plummer, daughter of Jeremiah and Sarah (Eldrich) Plummer. When his first child was an infant, he removed to Pownal, where he cleared the farm no occupied by the widow of his son Jeremiah. He worked much at teaming, going sometimes as far as Boston. His death occurred 27 Aug. 182. His widow died 19 Apr 1857.
He had 13 children.
