Rose/Rosa Lee/Leigh Poe was born on August 17, 1875 to the parents Henry Houston Poe and Mary Barham/Bacham/Basham. Spelling varies on mother's name. Rosa is listed on the 1880 census in the Neills Creek area of Harnett County, North Carolina. Rose Lee Poe's death was on Oct. 24, 1899 in Brooks, Georgia. She was 24 years old. She was buried at Camp Cemetery, Mount Zion Church.
