Wartislaw VII, Duke of Pomerania

Wartislaw VII, Duke of Pomerania, was the son of Bogislaw V, duke of Pomerania, and his second wife Adelaide of Brunswick^[1].

In 1380 he married Marie of Mecklenburg, daughter of Heinrich III, duke of Mecklenburg and Ingeborg of Danmark, and had issue:

1. Erik Bogislaw, king of Denmark, Sweden and Norway
2. Catherine, married Johann, Palatine of Neumarkt^[1].

Wartislaw died between November 1394 and 23 February 1395.

Father of Erik of Pommern with Maria, a sister daughter to Margrethe 1st of Denmark. He was in 1406 married to Filippa of England (1394-1430). No children.
