Elizabeth Pomfret was born in England, probably around 1625 (based on date of marriage). She arrived in this country about 1640 with her mother. She was the daughter of William Pomfret and Hosanna (Unknown) Pomfret. [1] [2]
Elizabeth married Deacon John Dam about 1648, probably in Dover, Strafford County, New Hampshire, as his second wife.[1] [2]
