Biography
Susannah Elizabeth Pond was born on May 21, 1843, in Northumberland, New Brunswick, Canada, her father, John, was 30, and her mother, Susannah, was 29. She married Alexander William Hovey on October 27, 1859, in her hometown. They had eight children in 18 years. She died in 1882 in Northumberland, New Brunswick, Canada, at the age of 39, and was buried there.
