Services Wednesday for Mrs. Echols
Graveside services were held Wednesday morning from the Zion Hill Cemetery for Mrs. Dora Echols, age 71 , who passed away from a heart attack at her home near Braxton Friday evening.
The Revs. E. J. Slonaker, Tulon Angelin, and Cary Cox officiated and Mims Mitchell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Echols, well-loved by everyone who knew her, is survived by two sons, Glen and Tom Echols of Braxton; three daughters, Major Hilda Echols of the U.S. Air Force of Germany, Mrs. Louis Enochs of Austin, Texas, and Miss Grace Echols of Braxton, one grandchild; two brothers, Tom and Everett Ponder of Braxton; and one sister, Mrs. M.F. Ford of Oklahoma.
