James M. Pool wed Frankie Hemperley September 29, 1907 in Miller County, Arkansas.^[1]

J M Pool was enumerated as head of the household at Farris, Atoka County, Oklahoma for the April 22, United States Census, 1910. He was noted as born 1875 in Arkansas and had been married two years. He was manager (sawmill) as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Frankie Pool, son Jim Pool, boarder A E Yetter, boarder C A Fox, boarder Julius Luvey, boarder Nance May, boarder Mike Walters, boarder Walter Hardy and boarder Ike Hardy.^[2]
